6th grade students studied ancient wonders of the world in Mr. Carter's History class. Their final project of the year was to study an ancient wonder and it's civilization. Based on their research they designed their own ancient wonder, in collaboration with Technology class, they created videos about their ancient wonder research.
7th & 8th Grade students took a virtual trip "around the world" in History class. They choose nine destinations to visit. This project included, History, Math and Technology. They had to create a budget, track the best route, hotels and places to visit, then create a Prezi to present. In Technology class they created a video of five countries and places to visit in those five countries.
Additionally, students learned how to created GIFS to use as their title for their videos.
Scratch is a program students used during their Coding Unit. The assignment was to draw and code an animated character.
